Osteotomes
An osteotome cuts bone. The distinction from a chisel is the bevel: an osteotome is bevelled on both sides and drives straight through bone, while a chisel is bevelled on one side only and will deflect along the cut. That difference is why an osteotome is used for controlled sectioning and a chisel for shaping and paring.Orthopaedic patternsLambotte is the general-purpose straight osteotome, stocked here in full and mini sizes.
