Description
Winter Root Elevator Set, 10 Pieces
The Winter root elevator set holds ten cross-bar elevators in five left and right pairs. A T-handle sits across the palm. So you can turn the blade with your whole hand instead of just your fingers.
Why a cross-bar handle
A straight handle turns between the fingers. In contrast, a cross-bar handle turns with the wrist, which gives more torque. That extra power helps with firm roots. However, it also calls for a light, steady touch, because the force builds fast.
Five pairs at a glance
The kit covers Fig. 1L and 1R, then 11L and 11R, 12L and 12R, 13L and 13R, and 14L and 14R. Each pair mirrors left and right. Since the figures differ at the working end, you can test which pair suits a given root and keep it handy.
Safe use of T-handle elevators
Keep these steps in mind:
- Brace the jaw with your free hand.
- Find a firm purchase point first.
- Turn in small arcs, never in one big twist.
- Stop and reassess if the bone, not the root, starts to move.
Ten pieces or a smaller kit?
If you only need one Winter pair, our nine-piece forceps and elevator kit includes Fig. 12L and 12R. On the other hand, a surgeon who removes many molar roots may want all five pairs. This kit gives that full choice in one tray.
The value of a full Winter tray
With the whole kit, every left blade has its right twin, and all ten share one finish. Plus, you place a single order rather than ten.
Warranty and reprocessing for Winter pairs
Our cover for these ten Winter elevators gives three years against manufacturing defects, and a failed Winter tip is a quick swap. We have them made to our own design, and the stainless steel meets ASTM F899. Each elevator leaves our dock non-sterile; after a full wash and autoclave cycle, you can reuse it. Made for professional use. Our reprocessing guide and delivery policy answer questions about Winter elevator dispatch.
