Description
Extracting Forceps & Root Elevator Set, 9 Pieces
This forceps and elevator set pairs four English-pattern forceps with five elevators. In short, it holds tools to loosen a tooth and then deliver it.
Elevators to loosen first
Most extractions start with an elevator. The Bein Fig. 6 has a 3 mm straight blade for opening the gap around a tooth. Then the Flohr Fig. 2 and Fig. 3 add a left and right pair with 3.5 mm blades, so you can work from either side. For lower molars, the Winter cross-bar elevators Fig. 12L and 12R add a 10 mm blade and more turning force.
Forceps to deliver the tooth
Once the tooth moves, the forceps take over. Fig. 33A and Fig. 51A have narrow tips for lower and upper roots. Meanwhile, Fig. 67A covers upper third molars and Fig. 79 covers lower third molars.
Where each piece fits
- Bein Fig. 6: first entry beside a tooth or root.
- Flohr pair: side-to-side work on roots.
- Winter cross-bars: extra leverage on lower molar roots.
- Narrow-tip forceps: grasping roots after they loosen.
- Third molar forceps: delivering wisdom teeth top and bottom.
Is this the right kit for you?
If you already own forceps, an elevator-only set may make more sense. By contrast, this forceps and elevator set suits a new room that wants both groups on one tray. It leans toward roots and third molars rather than full-arch forceps cover.
Why buy nine together
A single order brings forceps and elevators with a matching finish. Also, you avoid hunting for nine part numbers, so setup is quicker.
Material, warranty and links
The steel meets ASTM F899 for surgical instruments. Every piece comes from our own drawings, with inspection done in the United States. You receive the forceps and elevators non-sterile, then reprocess them for reuse. Should a fault trace back to production, all nine forceps and elevators carry three years against manufacturing defects, piece by piece. For more elevator shapes, see the 12-piece root elevator kit, or browse our institutional set range. Our help and FAQ page answers order questions.
Intended for licensed dental professionals. See the reprocessing guide and our shipping terms.
