Description
Root Elevator Set, 12 Pieces
Our 12-piece elevator set is built on a simple grid. You get four patterns, and each comes in 2, 3 and 4 mm widths. That logic makes it easy to find the right tool fast, even mid-procedure.
Four patterns at a glance
- Straight: direct access, often for front teeth.
- Angled: side access for premolars and molars.
- Bayonet distal: offset shank that reaches the back face of a root.
- Bayonet mesial: offset shank that reaches the front face of a root.
What the bayonet shapes add
A bayonet shank steps sideways before the blade. So the working end sits out of line with the handle. In turn, you can reach the distal or mesial side of a deep root while keeping a clear view. Many surgeons find these shapes useful for upper molar roots.
Size steps for each pattern
Each pattern has a narrow, medium and wide blade. Typically, you start narrow to open the space. Then you move up as the root loosens. Because all four patterns share the same widths, the logic stays the same whichever shape you pick.
Twelve or ten?
Our ten-piece kit covers straight and angled work. However, it lacks the bayonet pair of patterns. If you see many deep or broken molar roots, the 12-piece elevator set gives you more reach.
Why a complete grid matters
Gaps in a size run tend to show up at the worst moment. With the whole grid in one order, that risk goes away. Also, the handles match, which helps with feel and with tray layout.
About this kit
Our stainless steel follows ASTM F899. We set the design, and the set clears a quality check in the United States. The 12-piece root set comes non-sterile; therefore, clean and sterilize before first use, then reuse as needed. All twelve root elevators come with three years against manufacturing defects across the full dozen. The ten-piece root kit is a lighter choice.
