Description
Root Elevator Set, 10 Pieces
A 10-piece root elevator set gives you breadth without going to a full surgical kit. It spans Fig. 1 to Fig. 10, with blades of 2, 3 and 4 mm. Straight and angled patterns sit side by side, so you can pick the elevator that suits the root in front of you.
Three widths, many angles
Blade width matters because roots differ in size. For instance, a 2 mm blade slips into a tight ligament space. Meanwhile, a 4 mm blade moves a bigger root with less effort. This set repeats those three widths across its patterns. In detail, you get 2 mm at Fig. 1 and Fig. 8, 3 mm at Fig. 2, 4, 6 and 9, and 4 mm at Fig. 3, 5, 7 and 10.
Straight versus angled in practice
Straight patterns usually suit front teeth and roots you can see head-on. Angled patterns, on the other hand, help with premolars and molars where a direct approach is awkward to find. Having both means less reaching and fewer awkward hand positions.
Who tends to choose it
- General practices that remove roots most weeks.
- Teaching clinics that want a full spread of sizes on one tray.
- Surgeons who want spares of common widths.
Ten pieces or twelve?
We also offer a twelve-piece kit with bayonet shapes. If you work often on deep, distal or mesial roots, that one may suit you better. Otherwise, this 10-piece root elevator set covers the usual cases.
One set instead of ten orders
Buying singles takes time, and handles may differ. In contrast, this kit arrives with a common finish and grip. It also makes restocking simple.
Steel and service
The blades are surgical stainless steel to ASTM F899. Each blade follows our specification, and a final inspection happens in the United States. Delivery is non-sterile; after cleaning and sterilization, each of the ten elevators goes back into use again and again. Coverage spans three years against manufacturing defects, and we handle claims directly. See the twelve-piece bayonet version, our institutional instrument sets and the frequently asked questions.
For trained clinical staff only. Check our care page for these root elevators and our delivery times before ordering.
