Sinus Lift Curette Set, 8 Pieces
This sinus lift curette set gives you the whole run of membrane curettes in one group of eight. It starts with an acute tip for the window margin, then moves through curettes 1 to 7, each angled a little more.
Why the bend matters
The sinus is not a flat box. Its floor dips, and its walls slope away from the window. Therefore one shape can only reach so far. With eight bends, you swap tips as the lift goes deeper.
A simple order of use
- Begin with the acute curette at the edge of the window.
- Move to the low numbers for the near floor.
- Then use the mid range for the front and inner walls.
- Finish with the higher numbers for the back wall.
Of course, the surgeon sets the order in each case. Still, the steady step in angle makes the sequence easy to learn.
Fitting into the tray you own
This kit holds curettes only. So you still use your own elevator, retractors, suction and suture tools. Many offices buy it to upgrade an older run, or so two rooms can work at once.
