Description
Positive Positioner Bracket Instrument
Bonding day goes better when each bracket lands in the right spot. The Positive Positioner is a hand instrument for that task. It helps you nudge a bracket into place before the adhesive sets. It is a single item, so there is nothing to choose.
A Tool for Bonding Day
Bracket placement sets the course for the whole case. So small errors here can mean extra wire bends later. A dedicated positioning tool helps you make fine moves with control, rather than relying on tweezers alone.
Moving a Bracket Into Place
First, place the bracket on the tooth with your tweezers. Then use the instrument to press and slide it to the planned height and angle. Next, check it from the front and the side. Finally, light cure or let the adhesive set as your system needs.
Checking Height and Angle
Many offices use a gauge to set bracket height. In that case, the gauge marks the spot and the Positive Positioner moves the bracket there. As a result, you get a more even row of brackets across the arch.
Confirm the Positioner Tip
The catalogue lists this tool by name only. So we suggest a few checks:
- View the product photo to see the working end.
- Compare it with the bracket tools you use now.
- Ask us if you need more detail.
Keeping It Clean
Adhesive can build up on the tip. For that reason, wipe it after each tooth if needed, and clean it fully after the visit. Also check that the tip is smooth, because a rough edge can scratch a bracket.
Positioner Supply and Warranty
We source it to our own spec and check it in the United States. We chose stainless steel that complies with ASTM F899. You can lean on cover of three years against manufacturing defects should a fault arise. Treat it as non-sterile on arrival; after you clean and sterilize it, reuse it freely. To set height first, see our bracket positioning gauges. Look through our orthodontic tools or read our FAQ.
