Description
Periodontal Plastic Surgery Set, 19 Pieces
Our periodontal plastic surgery set is planned around thin tissue and small flaps. It holds nineteen pieces for gum grafts and root coverage. Because the patterns are slim, they suit tight access.
Fine incisions in thin tissue
The KOR 1/2 knife comes in three versions: standard, micro-blade and long-blade. So you can pick the reach that fits the site. The angled scalpel handle also takes a blade. Meanwhile, the PR 1/2 and Younger-Good 7/8 curettes clean the root and recipient bed.
Releasing and lifting the flap
Two titanium periotomes, the PPAEL and PPAELA, are slim enough to work under the gum margin. Then the PR3 and Buser elevators, also titanium, lift the flap. In addition, the Ochsenbein chisel Och 2 can shape bone edges where needed.
Microsurgical suturing
Small sutures need fine control. For this reason, the 16 cm Castroviejo needle holder has tungsten carbide jaws. The curved Barraquer and the 45 degree Castroviejo scissors cut fine suture. Then the Dean 16.5 cm scissors, also carbide, handle heavier trimming.
- KOR knife in three versions
- Titanium periotomes and elevators
- Carbide needle holder
- Three scissors
Support pieces at the chair
The CP12 probe measures recession before and after surgery. Next, the Goldman-Fox 15 cm forceps hold tissue and grafts. Finally, a #5 double-surface mirror and a winged 1.8 ml syringe round out the kit.
Plastic or advanced surgery kit?
This kit favours delicate grafting. However, bone grafts need packers and bone curettes, so our 23-piece advanced kit may suit that work better. Either way, a matched kit spares you nineteen orders.
Our specification sets the pattern, and each of the 19 plastic surgery pieces passes inspection in the United States. Stainless parts conform with ASTM F899. You receive the pieces non-sterile; after cleaning and sterilisation they are ready for reuse. Should a flaw from production appear, the plastic surgery kit has three years against manufacturing defects, so we fix a faulty piece at our cost. For a smaller kit, see the seven-piece tunneling kit, or shop all institutional dental sets. Billing and account answers live in our FAQs.
For use by dental professionals. Our cleaning and sterilization page and delivery information cover the details.
