Description
Partial Impression Trays, Solid without Rim Lock
For a closed, simple tray that covers just part of the lower arch, choose the solid plain partial tray. This sectional tray has neither perforations nor a rim lock. Therefore, a tray adhesive provides all of the hold.
Plain by Design
This is the most basic sectional shape in our range. The smooth border and closed floor make it easy to clean and simple to extend with wax. Also, with nothing to snag, the edge stays kind to the cheek.
Adhesive First
Coat the inside evenly and let it dry before you load. Then seat the tray with steady, even pressure. Hold it still until the material sets, so the impression stays bonded.
Six Sizes, Two Shapes
The options are L6S, L6D, L4S, L4D, L2S and L2D. D and S are mirror shapes. Size 6 is the smallest, size 4 is the middle, and size 2 is the largest.
Common Partial Tray Uses
- Records for a single lower crown
- A short bridge in one segment
- Small areas where a full arch would waste material
Fit Check
Before loading, try the tray over the area. Next, make sure it clears the opposing teeth and the tongue. If the flange presses on the floor of the mouth, choose a smaller size. Then coat it with adhesive.
This solid plain partial tray arrives non-sterile. Clean and sterilize it before each use, and it will serve as a durable, reusable tray.
