Description
Orthodontic Archwire Set, 6 Pieces
Most orthodontic visits are short adjustments. An orthodontic archwire set keeps those visits smooth, because the six pieces cover seating a bracket, bending a wire and trimming the end.
Placing brackets
The bracket holder forceps grip a bracket so you can carry it to the tooth. Then you can press it into place with steady control. Afterwards, the H6/7 scaler clears extra adhesive from around the base before it sets hard.
Shaping and seating wire
The bird beak plier is 12.5 cm long. Its round and pyramid beaks form loops and small bends in light wire. Meanwhile, the thin Weingart plier guides the wire into each slot and pulls it through tubes. Together they handle most routine wire work.
A clean distal finish
Once the wire sits in place, the slim distal end cutter trims the tail behind the molar tube. It has tungsten carbide inserts for a hard edge. Many designs also hold the cut piece, but check the jaws before relying on that.
Six tools, three jobs
- Bonding: bracket holder forceps and H6/7 scaler
- Wire work: bird beak plier and thin Weingart plier
- Finishing: slim distal end cutter and #6 mirror
Adjusting, removing or both?
Pick this tray for adjustment visits. On the other hand, the debanding tray suits removal day, and the twelve-piece practice tray adds cutters and pliers for a full clinic. Ordering the group in one go also beats hunting for singles, since the pliers share a matched feel.
Purchase and upkeep
Every archwire plier here comes made to our specification, and our staff inspect the six in the United States. On materials, the pliers and cutters conform to ASTM F899. For peace of mind, you get three years against manufacturing defects under our standard terms. The tray leaves us non-sterile; clean and sterilize it, then reuse it as normal.
