Micro Surgical Set, 11 Pieces
The micro surgical set brings 11 fine tools for delicate soft tissue work, such as small flaps and fine suturing. Most of the holders and forceps carry tungsten carbide for a firm grip.
Three Castroviejo needle holders
The kit has three Castroviejo holders with carbide jaws: 16 cm straight, 18 cm straight and 18 cm curved. So you can pick the length and angle that suit the site. Also, a longer holder helps in the back of the mouth.
Fine forceps for thin tissue
- Adson 1×2, 12 cm, for a secure hold.
- Adson toothed, 15 cm, for a longer reach.
- Gerald 18 cm, carbide, straight and curved, for fine tissue.
Scissors for small cuts
Barraquer scissors, 14 cm, come straight and curved. They are fine and light, and they suit small trims. Meanwhile, the Castroviejo 45 degree scissors reach angled spots.
Holding the edge back
The Kilner skin hook, 16 cm, lifts a thin flap edge without crushing it. In practice, this gentle hold helps when you need a clear view of the margin, for example while you place a fine stitch.
