Bone Graft Harvesting Set, 8 Pieces
This bone graft harvesting set is a compact group of eight for taking and placing small amounts of graft. It suits a side tray next to your main implant or periodontal kit.
Two titanium graft tools
The 3.3/4 mm bone graft instrument gathers and shapes graft. Also, the graft carrier has marks at 2, 4, 6, 8 and 10 mm, so you can load a known amount. Both are titanium, which is light in the hand.
Opening a small donor site
First, set a blade in the adjustable scalpel handle. Its angle can change to suit the site. Then the KM3/4 knife helps with tissue, and the titanium Allen 9 elevator lifts a small flap.
Holding and closing
- Adson 1×2 forceps, 12 cm, grip the flap edge.
- A Crile-Wood 15 cm needle holder with carbide jaws places sutures.
- Curved La Grange gum scissors, 11.5 cm, carbide, trim the thread.
When this kit is enough
For small defects, these eight may be all you add. However, a block graft from the chin or ramus needs more, such as osteotomes and deep retractors. In that case, look at our 22-piece graft kit.
