Description
Lindo-Levian Root Elevator Set, 8 Pieces
The Lindo-Levian elevators in this set come in three exact widths. You get straight and curved versions of each, plus two bayonet distal pieces. As a whole, it is a tidy kit for root work that needs fine control.
Odd widths with a purpose
Instead of round numbers, these blades measure 4.2, 3.5 and 2.3 mm. That spread gives a clear jump from wide to fine. Use the 2.3 mm blade to enter tight ligament spaces. Then move to 3.5 or 4.2 mm as the root starts to move.
Straight and curved side by side
Moreover, each width appears twice, once straight and once curved. The straight form suits front teeth. By contrast, the curved form follows root contours on premolars and molars. As a result, you rarely need to force an angle.
Bayonet distal Fig. 7 and Fig. 8
Also, both bayonet pieces carry a 3.5 mm blade. Their offset shank lets you reach the distal side of a root while your hand stays out of the way. They often help with upper molar roots and with teeth near the back of the arch.
Quick reference
- Fine entry: 2.3 mm straight or curved.
- Main work: 3.5 mm straight or curved.
- Large roots: 4.2 mm straight or curved.
- Distal access: bayonet Fig. 7 or Fig. 8.
Ordering as a group
Since the widths step evenly, Lindo-Levian elevators work best as a whole set. Buying all eight at once keeps the handles and feel the same. It also saves time compared with eight separate orders.
Specs behind the steel
We use stainless steel that conforms to ASTM F899. The set follows our specification, and staff inspect it in the United States. The Lindo-Levian set arrives non-sterile, ready for you to clean, sterilize and reuse. In addition, all eight Lindo-Levian elevators have three years against manufacturing defects on blade and grip.
