Description
Flohr & Friedman Root Elevator Set, 6 Pieces
This kit groups Flohr & Friedman elevators into two trios. Each trio has a straight blade plus a left and a right. So you get the same three shapes in two widths, which keeps choices clear.
Two patterns, one layout
The Flohr pieces share a 3.5 mm blade. Meanwhile, the Friedman pieces run slightly finer at 3.0 mm. In both cases, Fig. 1 is straight, Fig. 2 faces left and Fig. 3 faces right.
When to pick the finer blade
A finer blade enters a tight space more easily. For example, a small root or a narrow ligament gap often calls for the Friedman. Once the root gives, the wider Flohr can take over and move it further.
Left, right and straight in use
Straight blades work best when you can line up with the root. On the other hand, the left and right versions let you approach from the side on back teeth. Because both trios follow the same plan, switching between widths feels natural.
Practices that suit two trios
- Practices that remove roots often and like handed pairs.
- Clinicians who want two widths without a large tray.
- Surgery rooms that keep one trio as a backup.
Six together, not one by one
Mixing singles from different orders can leave you with mismatched grips. With this kit, all six Flohr & Friedman elevators share a handle and finish. Also, the two trios stay complete, so nothing goes missing from the plan.
Materials and after-sale
Every blade uses stainless steel within ASTM F899. Our specification guides production, and a United States team inspects the final set. It is non-sterile on arrival and reusable after cleaning and sterilization. Flohr and Friedman pairs hold three years against manufacturing defects; a faulty Flohr or Friedman blade costs you nothing. A related option is the Bein and Flohr set of six. See the clinical and institutional range or our answers to common questions.
Professional dental use only. Before use, check our care instructions; for timing, see our delivery policy.
