Description
Bein & Flohr Root Elevator Set, 6 Pieces
This kit brings Bein & Flohr elevators onto one tray. Three Bein blades give you graded straight widths. Then a Flohr trio adds side access. Together, they cover most routine root removal.
Bein blades: three straight sizes
The Bein pieces are Fig. 1, Fig. 6 and Fig. 7, at 2, 3 and 4 mm. All three are straight. In practice, you open the space with the 2 mm blade, then step up. The wider blades help move a root once it starts to give.
Flohr trio: straight plus a handed pair
Next come the Flohr Fig. 1 straight, Fig. 2 left and Fig. 3 right, each at 3.5 mm. Also, the left and right versions help on molars, where a straight line is hard to get. Therefore, the trio fills the gap the straight Bein blades leave.
A sensible split of work
- Bein 2 mm: first entry.
- Bein 3 and 4 mm: main luxation on accessible roots.
- Flohr straight: a 3.5 mm middle option.
- Flohr left and right: side work on back teeth.
Against our other six-piece kit
We also sell a Flohr and Friedman set. That one gives two handed trios. By contrast, this set trades one trio for graded straight Bein widths. Choose it if you lean on straight blades for most cases.
Benefits of a single order
Getting all six Bein & Flohr elevators at once means one finish and one handle style. It also cuts admin time. Moreover, you avoid the risk of a missing size in the Bein run.
Quality notes
Our steel is surgical stainless steel to ASTM F899. Production runs to our specification, and the set gets an inspection in the United States. We ship it non-sterile; once cleaned and sterilized, it is ready for repeated use. The Bein and Flohr elevators hold three years against manufacturing defects, and a claim needs little paperwork. For more Bein sizes, see the ten-piece Bein set. Visit our sets for clinics and institutions or the FAQ page.
