Description
Kidney Tray without Lid
Not every task needs a cover. This stainless kidney tray is open, with no lid to lift or lose. Its inward curve fits near the patient, while the flat floor gives tools a place to rest.
When an Open Tray Is Best
An open tray speeds up the work. You can drop in a swab or pick up a tool without an extra step. In addition, there is one less part to wash. If you need a covered item, choose a jar or drum instead.
Four Lengths on Offer
The tray comes in four lengths. Choose by what you plan to hold.
- 6 in: for a few cotton rolls or one small tool.
- 8 in: a handy size for a dental bracket table.
- 10 in: for a short row of instruments or more fluid.
- 12 in: for long tools or a bigger mess.
Often, a clinic keeps two lengths: one small for the chair, one large for the clean-up area.
Common Uses
Staff use it to carry used tools to the sink. It also holds swabs during a procedure, or catches rinse water. Because the edge curves, it sits well against the body.
Caring for the Finish
Rinse the stainless kidney tray soon after use. Next, give the kidney tray a soft brush and mild detergent. Avoid steel wool, since it scratches. Then dry it fully before storage.
Reuse Without Fuss
It leaves us non-sterile. After cleaning, it can go into your steam sterilizer. That means one tray serves for many cycles.
Standards and Cover
We wrote the spec for this tray, and it gets an inspection in the United States. Its steel fits ASTM F899. Every kidney tray carries three years against manufacturing defects, base to rim. Browse our stainless hollow ware for related pieces. For a deeper kidney shape with set depths, see the emesis basin. Then check our FAQ pages if anything is unclear.
