Description
Solid Full Denture Impression Trays
The solid full denture tray gives you a closed, shallow shell for edentulous arches. It has a rim along the border but no holes. That makes it a fit for clinicians who prefer adhesive-based hold for first denture impressions.
Why Some Prefer It Unperforated
Without holes, material stays inside the tray and presses into the vestibule. This can help with a firm, even layer along the ridge. But the material will not lock into the steel by itself, so tray adhesive is essential.
Rim and Adhesive Together
The rim gives the margin something to catch on. Meanwhile, the adhesive bonds the main body of the impression. Let the coat dry fully before you mix.
Sizing the Edentulous Arch
There are 8 options: upper or lower in XL, L, M or S. Uppers carry the codes U61–U64, and lowers carry L66–L69. Dimensions match our perforated denture tray, so you can mix styles in one practice.
Quick Try-In Checklist
- Center the handle over the midline of the ridge.
- On uppers, check that the back border reaches the hamular notches.
- On lowers, confirm the flange clears the tongue.
- Pick the smallest size that still covers the full ridge.
After Each Patient
Remove set material and adhesive while they are fresh. Next, scrub, rinse and dry the tray before you pack it for the autoclave.
You will receive this solid full denture tray non-sterile. After you clean and sterilize it, the tray is ready for reuse. Each one follows a spec we wrote, with a final look by Intrace staff on US soil. Its stainless alloy is the kind ASTM F899 describes. Every solid denture tray carries three years against manufacturing defects, upper and lower alike. Prefer holes? The perforated denture tray is the sister item.
