Description

Hull Extracting Forceps

Small teeth need a calm, light touch. Our Hull extracting forceps include Fig. 101 for deciduous teeth, so you have a tool sized for young patients. We also offer Fig. 103 from our surgical list under the same pattern name.

A Pattern for Primary Teeth

Children have small mouths and short attention spans. So a forceps that fits a primary tooth well can shorten the visit. Fig. 101 lets you grip a deciduous tooth without the bulk of an adult figure. In addition, a smaller tool in the hand can look less alarming to a nervous child.

The Two Hull Figures

  • Fig. 101: for deciduous teeth
  • Fig. 103: from our surgical list
  • Each figure ships as a single instrument

Which One to Order

For routine primary extractions, Fig. 101 is the clear choice. Fig. 103 comes from our surgical range. Since we do not list beak details for it, ask us before you order if you need a set shape. We sell both figures singly, so you can buy just the one you need.

Gentle Technique With Young Patients

Primary roots often resorb as the adult tooth moves up. For that reason, seat the beaks with care and avoid deep pressure. Then use small, slow moves rather than a hard pull. Also keep in mind the permanent tooth below. A light grip and patience protect it best.

Hold and Comfort

Rest the handles in your palm and keep your fingers relaxed. This posture gives you feel without strain. Meanwhile, your other hand can support the jaw and guard the cheek.

Cover, Care and Next Steps

Every Hull figure follows our specification, and we inspect it in Atlanta before it leaves. The steel is stainless and in line with ASTM F899. These forceps come non-sterile, but they rejoin the tray for every new case after you wash and sterilize them. Our three years against manufacturing defects apply in full, so any build fault gets put right. For more small-tooth options, see our children’s extracting forceps or the whole forceps collection. Our FAQ handles returns and orders.
