Description
Graft Material Spoons
A graft material spoon scoops a generous load of particulate bone or substitute and carries it to the defect in one trip. Its concave tip is sized for larger grafts, such as ridge augmentation or a big extraction socket. Two versions are listed, and the difference lies in what accompanies the spoon.
Concave Tip Version
The Concave Tip option is the spoon alone. It suits teams who already own packers and only want a better way to move volume. Because the bowl is deep, it holds hydrated graft without spilling on the way to the site. You then tip the load in and shape it with whatever condenser you prefer.
With 3 mm Serrated Packer
The With 3 mm Serrated Packer option combines the same concave spoon with a 3 mm serrated packing tip. So, you can place the graft and then compact it without reaching for a second instrument. The serrations grip the particles lightly, which helps press them into irregular walls instead of pushing them aside.
Picking the Right One
Ask how your tray is organised. If packers of several sizes already sit beside the bowl, the plain spoon keeps things simple. However, for a lean kit or a quick socket graft, the combined version saves a swap at a moment when the field is wet. Many offices therefore keep one of each.
Behind the Product
Each spoon is examined at our Georgia location, in the United States, for a smooth bowl and an even serration pattern before shipping. Expect it to arrive unsterilized; scrub out residue and autoclave it before grafting. Furthermore, spoons are guaranteed three years against manufacturing defects in the bowl or packer, though normal wear is excluded.
