Description
Euro Aspirating Dental Syringe
The euro aspirating syringe pairs a closed thumb ring with a spool finger grip. Euro is the name the catalogue gives this pattern. Cartridges are the common 1.8 ml size, and a harpoon engages the stopper so you can draw back.
The Euro pattern at a glance
In layout, it sits close to our Type A. Both have a ring at the rear and a spool up front. Even so, pattern names often reflect small shape differences. So if your team trained on a Euro pattern, this euro aspirating syringe will feel like home.
Fitting a range of hands
A spool works for many hand sizes. Small hands can wrap the collar closely, while large hands can rest on its outer rim. The ring at the back then lets the thumb push or pull with equal ease.
Setting up several rooms
Many practices buy one pattern for every chair. That way, staff never have to adjust when they move rooms. In addition, spare parts and cleaning steps stay the same across the clinic.
- Closed thumb ring
- Spool grip for two fingers
- Harpoon for manual aspiration
- Suits blocks as well as infiltration
Cleaning the barrel window
After each patient, remove the needle and cartridge. Then brush the barrel and the harpoon tip to clear any dried solution. Rinse well, dry, and pack it for the autoclave.
A darker option
If you want a different thumb grip, the same Euro body also comes with black parts and a square thumb grip. That version suits those who prefer a flat pad to a ring.
Expect it to arrive non-sterile; with cleaning and sterilization it goes back to work for patient after patient. The steel used in it is chosen to meet ASTM F899. We will repair or replace it for three years against manufacturing defects. You may compare other anaesthesia syringes, the black square grip Euro, or our question and answer page.
