Description
Disc System Self-Aspirating Syringe, Steel Wings
If you like the solid feel of a classic metal syringe, this steel wing disc syringe keeps it. Both the finger wings and the thumb rest are stainless steel. Yet it aspirates on its own, so you get the old feel with a newer action.
Metal Under Every Finger
On the black and grey siblings, the wings are a coloured grip. Here, every point your hand touches is steel. Some clinicians simply prefer that firm, cool contact. Also, the steel wing disc syringe has a uniform look on the tray.
The Press-and-Pause Rhythm
First, you press to start the flow. Then you pause and let your thumb go light. At that moment, the elastic diaphragm at the front of the cartridge relaxes off the disc. That slight recoil creates the aspirating pull. If the cartridge stays clear, you carry on with a steady push.
Moving Over From a Manual Syringe
Many dentists trained on manual syringes with a thumb ring. However, pulling back with the thumb can shift the tip. With this model, you skip that motion. Because the grip stays metal, the change feels small, and the learning curve is short.
Where It Earns Its Place
Generally, use it for the inferior alveolar block, where a positive check matters most. It also handles infiltration, mental nerve injections and palatal work.

Caring for an All-Steel Grip
We ship the syringe non-sterile, which means you should process it before the first patient. After each case, unload it, scrub away any residue, then dry it well before the cycle. Avoid harsh chlorine cleaners on stainless steel.
Behind the Purchase
The warranty lasts three years against manufacturing defects, and we honor it without fuss. In fact, all of it, wings and thumb rest included, follows ASTM F899.
