Description
Caspar Retractor Blade Only
This Caspar retractor blade replaces a part of the Caspar cervical self-retaining retractor. You receive the blade only, for anterior cervical spine surgery.
Standard depths
Standard blades come 35, 40, 45, 50, 55, 60, 65, 70, 75 and 85 mm deep. So you can match depth to the patient’s neck. Also, a full range lets you swap depth during a case.
Wide blades
Wide blades measure 50 mm across. Then you choose a depth of 44, 54, 74 or 89 mm. As a result, they hold more soft tissue at each level.
Component only
We sell these blades without the frame. Therefore you need a Caspar cervical retractor to use them. If you are unsure, ask us to check your system.
Keeping a set complete
Spine teams often lose or damage a Caspar retractor blade over time. Instead of replacing the whole set, you order the depths you need. That way the tray stays ready.
Cleaning Caspar retractor blade
Detach each blade from the frame after surgery. Next, brush the attachment slot and the blade face under running water. Finally, dry the blades and sort them by depth for the next case.
