Description
Atraumatic Extraction Set, 23 Pieces
When an implant will follow, the socket matters as much as the tooth. This atraumatic extraction set holds 23 pieces for a gentle flow: cut the ligament, loosen, lift, tidy and close. In short, it is a complete tray rather than a group of forceps.
Step one: cut and loosen
Start with the titanium PPAEL periotome, which slides along the root to cut fibers. Next, the 3 mm luxating elevators, one straight and one curved, widen the space with small turns. Because the force stays low, the thin bone walls face less stress.
Step two: lift the root
F-1 grips upper teeth and F-2 grips lower teeth, with narrow beaks on the root. For stubborn lower roots, the 46XL forceps adds reach. Then the titanium Molt elevator helps if you need to raise a small flap.
Step three: clean and smooth
- Lucas 87 and Lucas 2/4 curettes clear the socket.
- A BF21 bone file smooths sharp edges.
- The 2.5 mm suction tube keeps the site clear.
- Use the UNC 15 probe to check wall height.
Step four: graft and suture
The serrated PT2 and PT1 packers help place graft if you plan to keep the ridge. After that, Adson forceps, straight and curved, hold the tissue. The Crile-Wood needle holder and curved 12 cm iris scissors both carry tungsten carbide. Also, London College forceps, two mirrors, a #5 scalpel handle and a 1.8 ml syringe finish the tray.
Full tray or six forceps?
Our six-piece forceps group suits offices that already own periotomes and suture tools. However, this tray suits a team building a new socket-saving setup from scratch. Either way, one order beats tracking two dozen single parts.
Our specification guides the build, and each piece is inspected in the United States. Steel pieces meet ASTM F899. The tray ships non-sterile, yet it is reusable after cleaning and sterilization. A factory defect in any atraumatic piece is ours to fix, under three years against manufacturing defects on all 23. Visit the wider institutional set category, view the seven-blade titanium periotome group, or open our Q and A page.
Meant for professional dental teams. Our cleaning guide and shipping terms cover what to do on arrival.
