Atraumatic Extraction Forceps Set, 6 Pieces
Fine, narrow beaks are the point of this atraumatic extraction forceps set. They grip the root itself, not the bone next to it. So once a tooth is loose, you can lift it out while the socket walls stay as intact as possible.
Upper and lower universals
F-1 is the upper universal and F-2 is the lower one. Between them, they handle most single-root teeth and many premolars. Often these two do the bulk of daily work.
Anterior forceps, F-3 and F-4N
F-3 fits upper front teeth. F-4N fits lower front teeth, where roots are slim and close together. Because the beaks are narrow, they can slide down without catching the next tooth.
Molar forceps, F-6 and F-7C
F-6 is for upper molars, and F-7C is for lower molars. Even so, a molar should be well loosened first, often with a periotome. Then these forceps give a clean, steady hold for the final lift.
