Description
Apexo, Seldin and Crane Pick Elevator Set, 4 Pieces
These Apexo crane pick elevators come with two Seldin patterns, so one tray covers a root from first loosening to the last fragment. All four pieces measure 15 cm. That shared length keeps the hand feel steady as you move from tool to tool.
Four tools, four stages
Each instrument here takes on a different moment in a root removal. Together, they follow the root from the crest down to the apex.
- Seldin #34: broad straight luxation
- Seldin #34S: narrow luxation in tight sites
- Apexo #301: fine tip for the apical third
- Crane Pick #8: lift via a purchase point
The Seldin pair opens the socket
Seldin #34 has a broader straight blade for general luxation. Meanwhile, #34S is narrower, so it slips into tight spaces. Both blades work as small levers in the ligament space. Often that alone frees a single root.
The Apexo reaches the apical third
When a tip breaks off deep in the socket, a fine point helps. The Apexo #301 has a slim tip for that apical third. Because it is delicate, use light force and let the tip tease the fragment loose.
The Crane pick lifts by a purchase point
Sometimes a root sits firm with nothing to grip. In that case, you can cut a small purchase point in the root. Then the Crane Pick #8 seats in that point, and a short turn lifts the root out.
Why buy the four together
You could order these singly. However, the kit gives you a matched length and finish, plus one order to track. Also, the Apexo crane pick elevators suit a clinic that wants a compact fragment tray.
Care and coverage for the fragment tray
Apexo, Seldin and Crane pick tips hold three years against manufacturing defects, dated from when you buy the four. The stainless steel follows ASTM F899, and each piece ships non-sterile and stays reusable once you clean and sterilize it. If you want more Seldin widths, see the six-piece Seldin kit.
