The Westcott filling instrument is a restorative hand tool for carrying amalgam into a preparation and shaping it in place. Our supplier shows Westcott patterns on four different catalogue pages. As a result, this listing holds seven options built on two figures, Fig. 1 and Fig. 2.

Fig. 1 and Fig. 2 are the two Westcott working-end designs. On the earliest catalogue page, the plain Fig. 1 sits under a heading for serrated Westcott amalgam instruments. The other rows carry only the figure number. So, to see the working ends in detail, rely on the product photos for each option.

Westcott Styles 2, 3 and 4

Fig. 1 comes as the plain version plus Style 2, Style 3 and Style 4. Fig. 2 comes as the plain version plus Style 2 and Style 3. Each style is a further catalogue row with the same Westcott figure on another handle pattern. However, the supplier never names those handles, and we will not invent a description. Instead, compare the photos and choose the grip you like.

First, decide between Fig. 1 and Fig. 2, or order both for a complete pair. Next, pick a style, ideally one that matches the rest of your restorative cassette.
