Description
Valve For Aspirating Curettes
This aspirating curette valve is a component, not a curette on its own. It fits the aspirating curettes in our range and controls suction.
What the valve does
The valve works with an aspirating curette to regulate suction. So you can adjust the draw at the instrument during sampling. That gives finer control over how much suction reaches the tip.
A component, not a full instrument
Order this part as a spare or a replacement for an existing aspirating set in your department. However, it cannot take a sample by itself. Pair it with one of our aspirating curettes and your suction source to form a working setup.
One size
The valve comes in a single size for the curettes it serves. Therefore, ordering involves no size choice. If you have doubts about fit with an older curette, contact us first.
Keeping spares on hand
Small parts tend to go missing during reprocessing. So many departments keep an extra aspirating curette valve with each set. That way, a lost part never holds up a clinic list or a theater session.
Care of aspirating curette valve
Take the valve off the curette before cleaning so fluid reaches every surface. Next, flush it with water and a mild detergent, then rinse well. Finally, dry it completely and keep it with its curette set.
