The Troeltsch dressing forceps handles dressings and packing in the ear and nose. ENT clinicians use Troeltsch dressing forceps to place gauze, remove packing and pick up small debris.

Two lengths

For example, after ear surgery, a clinician may pack the canal with small gauze strips. Later, the Troeltsch removes them. It also helps with nasal packing in the office.

Caring for the Troeltsch

Rinse the tips after each use to clear gauze fibers. Then brush the joint and dry the Troeltsch completely. Sterilize it before returning it to the tray.
