Description
Solid Base for Instrument Tray
When a floor wears out, the rest of the system can live on. This solid instrument tray base replaces it without the cost of a new set.
One footprint, two layouts
The base measures 284 × 183 × 17 mm. It comes for 16 instruments or for 23, to suit the insert frame you use. So match the option to your frame and lid, and the parts will fit together.
A closed floor and its uses
With no holes, the floor catches small parts such as burs or tips that could fall through a perforated base. It also wipes clean and sits flat on a tray table. However, it drains slower, so tip it and dry it well after a wash.
Who buys a spare base
- Teams replacing a worn or bent base
- Offices adding another kit to the system
- Clinics that store kits on solid floors
- Teams moving away from a holed floor for chairside use
Solid or perforated?
Both bases share the same footprint, so they swap easily. Choose solid for setup and storage on the bracket table. Instead, choose perforated if most of your load goes through a washer-disinfector. Many practices keep some of each. That way, each kit sits on the floor that suits its job.
Ready for first use
Out of the box, the base is non-sterile. Clean and sterilize it before the first load. After that, it is reusable for years, and you can process it with the rest of the kit each cycle.
Standards, warranty and links
It follows our specification and clears inspection in the United States. The stainless meets ASTM F899. Better still, the solid instrument tray base earns three years against manufacturing defects, closed floor and walls alike. For the full kit, see the complete solid tray.
