Description
Root Tip Pick Set, 3 Pieces
This trio of single ended root tip picks follows the Heidebrink pattern. You get a straight, a left and a right pick. It is the core line-up for lifting small apical tips, without extras you may not need.
Three angles cover most fragments
A straight pick reaches a tip on a direct line. However, many fragments lean to one side. The left and right picks then let you come in from the open side.
Why single ended
One working end per handle keeps things simple. You always know which tip you hold. Also, there is no second point near your glove while you work.
What you gain from the trio:
- Straight, left and right in one order
- Slim tips for small apical pieces
- A clear one-end-per-handle layout
Using a fine pick
First, get clear vision and good suction. Next, seat the tip between the fragment and the bone. Then lift with a gentle rocking motion, as single ended root tip picks reward patience over pressure. A calm, slow lift also protects the thin socket wall. If the tip resists, stop and reassess rather than push harder.
Three-piece or four-piece?
The Heidebrink four-piece kit adds a double-ended Fig. 13/14. Choose that if you like extra angles on one handle. But if you want a lean, easy tray, this three-piece kit fits well.
One order, matched feel
Buying the three together gives one finish and grip across the trio. So a left and right feel the same when you swap.
What comes with your order
Each of the three root tip picks carries three years against manufacturing defects, from the fine point up to the grip. We write the design brief, and the steel conforms to ASTM F899. The trio arrives non-sterile and is reusable once your team has processed it through a full cycle. To add a double-ended option, consider the four-piece Heidebrink picks.
