Description
Rabiner Reflex Hammer
The Rabiner reflex hammer pairs a round, disc shaped head with a long handle that carries a small brush in its end. At 25 cm it is one of the longer hammers in our range, so you can stand back and still reach the ankle comfortably.
Reflexes and sensation in one instrument
First, use the disc head for tendon reflexes; its round rim strikes the same way from any angle. Then unscrew the brush from the handle to test light touch without reaching for another tool. As a result, a short screening exam needs only this one hammer and a pin.
Is the Rabiner reflex hammer right for you?
Above all, it suits clinicians who like extra reach and a head with some mass behind it. However, if you mainly examine small children, the shorter Buck pattern may feel easier to control. Also note the listed 40 mm size, which is the option you select at checkout.
Care
Remove the brush before cleaning, since bristles hold moisture. Next, wash the head and handle with a neutral detergent, rinse, and dry. Finally, replace the brush when it is fully dry.

Warranty and supply

In addition, the FDA recognizes ASTM F899, the standard for stainless steel in surgical instruments.
