A short, clear routine
Begin with the mirror handle #6 and the EXD 2A explorer to feel for deposits. Next, the CO12/CP11.5B colour probe gives a quick reading of pocket depth. Then you can plan how much scaling the visit needs.
Scaling above the gum line
The H6/7 scaler works well on front teeth. In contrast, the 204S has a shape for back teeth and contacts. Together they clear most supragingival calculus.

Three curettes for light root work
Being universal, the Columbia 13/14 adapts to many surfaces. Besides that, the Barnhart 1/2 and 5/6 offer two more angles. Barnhart curettes are often used for shallow pockets and general hygiene work.
