Description
Oral Surgery Set, 16 Pieces
This oral surgery set is a 16-piece kit for routine surgical extractions and root removal. It runs from numbing and the flap to luxation, bone trimming and suturing.
Numb, look and open
Begin with the 1.8 ml aspirating syringe. Then a #6 mirror handle and London College cotton forceps help with the exam. Next, the 149 periosteal and the Seldin 34 periosteal raise the flap.
Loosening the tooth and roots
The Seldin 34 elevator and the straight Apexo 301 work into the space around a root. As a result, the tooth loosens step by step. If a tip breaks off, the Heidbrink 13/14 root tip pick can tease it out.
After the tooth is out
- The Miller 10 curette cleans the socket.
- Sharp bone meets the Blumenthal 15 cm rongeur.
- Then the BF1X bone file smooths what is left.
Holding and suturing
A curved Baby-Crile haemostat, 14 cm, controls small bleeders. Meanwhile, Adson-Brown forceps hold the flap gently. The Crile-Wood needle holder has carbide jaws, so it grips suture well. Finally, curved Goldman-Fox scissors trim tissue, and the University of Minnesota retractor keeps the cheek away.
Sizing up the options
Our 22-piece extraction kit adds forceps, a mouth gag and more picks. By contrast, the 13-piece surgical kit leans toward flap and bone work. Pick this one for a balanced extraction tray in a single order.
Using and protecting it
The kit is delivered non-sterile. Once you clean and sterilize the oral surgery kit, every item is ready to reuse. We source each item to our specification and run final checks in the United States. For surgical use, the alloy follows ASTM F899. Our guarantee then holds for three years against manufacturing defects that show up in service.
