Description
Mini Vascular Clamp
The mini vascular clamp gives microvascular surgeons a tiny clamp for occluding small vessels. You place it with a separate holder rather than by hand.
Four jaw sizes
Jaws measure 4 x 0.75, 6 x 1, 8 x 2 and 10 x 2 mm. So the smallest suits the finest vessels under the microscope. Meanwhile, the larger sizes grip slightly bigger vessels.
Use with the holder
Because the clamp is so small, fingers cannot place it with precision. Instead, you apply it with the matching holder we sell separately. Then remove it the same way once the anastomosis is complete.
Microvascular work
Free flap and replant surgery depend on steady control of tiny vessels. Therefore a small clamp keeps the field clear under magnification. Plus, its size leaves room for sutures right beside it.
Ordering tips
Order the mini vascular clamp in pairs for each size you use. Also, add the holder if your tray lacks one. That way, the team can place and remove clamps without delay.
Reprocessing mini vascular clamp
Handle these clamps with the holder during cleaning too, so the jaws do not bend. Then rinse under a gentle stream and dry on a lint-free cloth. Finally, store them in a lidded micro tray.
