Description
Long Straight Osteotome
The long straight osteotome gives you a direct line of force with extra reach. Because the shank runs straight from handle to tip, every tap of the mallet goes straight down the axis of the site. That makes it the natural choice for anterior implant sites and for any site where the opposing teeth are not in the way.
Five Tip Diameters
Choose from 2.0, 3.5, 4.3, 5.0 and 5.5 mm. Working up through the sizes widens the osteotomy gradually and condenses soft bone against the walls instead of removing it. Many surgeons keep the full sequence together; it is also sold as the Long Osteotome Set, 5 Pieces.
Graduated Depth Marks
Marks along the working end let you read depth as you advance, so you can stop at the planned implant length without changing instruments. They are equally useful for a crestal sinus approach, where control over the last millimetre counts.
Straight or Offset?
- Straight (this listing): a direct line of force, best for anterior and premolar sites.
- Offset: the bend moves the handle clear of the arch for molar sites. See the Long Offset Osteotome.
Checked Here, Covered for Years
Our team inspects each osteotome in the United States before it ships from Atlanta, and each one is backed for three years against manufacturing defects. It arrives non-sterile; clean it and run a full autoclave cycle before first use.
The steel meets ASTM F899 for surgical stainless. Browse all dental implant instruments or read our FAQs.
Meant for licensed clinicians and trained implant surgeons. Our care and sterilization guide and shipping page cover reprocessing and delivery.
