Lost or damaged a cover? Then this perforated instrument tray lid fits our perforated tray system and closes over the base and insert frame.

Two lengths to match your tray

You can order this cover in two sizes. For 16 instruments, the lid measures 228 × 187 × 29 mm. For 23, it measures 288 × 187 × 29 mm. So check which insert you run, then order the lid that matches.

What a cover adds

A lid protects clean instruments from dust and splashes during storage. It also stops tools shifting when you carry the tray. In addition, a closed tray is easier to label and to carry by hand.

When to order a spare

• The old lid has a bent edge or no longer sits flat
• You run more trays than covers, so kits sit open
• A lid went missing when staff moved trays
• You want a backup for the steri room

Fitting and use

Place the perforated instrument tray lid squarely over the loaded base and press it down evenly. Then check that it sits flat along both sides. If you wrap or pouch trays, run your normal steam cycle with the lid in place, as your sterilizer maker advises.

Cleaning the lid

Like the rest of the system, the lid ships non-sterile. Therefore, wash and sterilize it before use. After that, process it along with the tray each cycle. Because it is stainless steel, you can reuse it again and again.
