The LaGrange pattern bends its blades so the tips reach around the curve of the arch. These lagrange gum scissors measure 11.5 cm, a compact size for trimming gingiva, papillae and tissue tags. Four versions are offered, and each changes either the bend or the edge.

Curved: The Simplest Profile

The Curved option has one bend along its length and plain blades. It handles general gingival trimming and suture removal well. For many practices, it is the first pair to stock.

What the Double Curve Adds

A double curve angles the blades twice. That way, the handles stay out of the line of sight while the tips sit flat against the tooth. Clinicians often prefer it for lingual and posterior areas, since a single curve can leave the hand in the way. Both the Double Curved, Serrated and the Super Cut, Double Curved versions use this shape.

Serrations and the Super Cut Version
