Description
Perforated Impression Tray Set of 6
Need a short, useful run of holed trays? This box holds six perforated impression trays, with three for the upper arch and three for the lower.
Sizes inside this box
The uppers carry the labels U2, U3 and U4. Meanwhile, the lowers run L2, L3 and L4. As a result, you can grab a matched upper and lower pair in seconds.
Why choose a holed tray
The body follows the Coe-style perforated pattern. When you press the loaded tray home, the material oozes through the holes and locks on the outside. That hold suits alginate study models and many elastomer techniques. Even so, a thin film of adhesive adds grip if the mix is heavy.
Who it works well for
- Hygiene rooms that take study models
- Practices that want a backup set for a busy week
- Clinics fitting out a new room on a tight timeline
- Dentists who favor perforated over solid trays
Sizing tips
First, choose a tray by eye, then try it in dry. You want the edges to clear the teeth all round without pressing on the gums. Next, check the back end and the handle. If anything binds, switch sizes before you mix.
Reprocessing the trays
Since the trays ship non-sterile, clean and sterilize them on arrival. After each patient, push a brush through the holes to clear set material. Then wash, dry and autoclave as usual. That way, your six perforated impression trays stay ready for the next case.
Our cover and useful links
Every piece follows our own specification and gets a final check in the United States. Its metal conforms to ASTM F899, the standard for stainless used in surgical tools. You also have three years against manufacturing defects if a tray falls short. Want the solid model? Compare the plain set of 6. You can also visit our impression tray catalog or the Intrace FAQ.
