Hylin Root Elevator Set, 4 Pieces
The Hylin elevator set is a compact four-piece kit. It gives you two straight blades and a curved handed pair. For many general offices, that covers routine root removal without a crowded tray.
The straight pair
Fig. 1 has a 4 mm straight blade, while Fig. 2 runs at 3 mm. First, use the narrower one to enter the ligament space. Then move to the wider blade as the root loosens. Also, both work well on front teeth and on roots you can face directly.
The curved pair
Fig. 3 curves left and Fig. 4 curves right, both at 3.5 mm. Because of the curve, the tip can sit against a molar root while the handle stays clear. Typically, you choose the side that gives the cleanest line to the root.
