Description
Heidebrink Root Tip Elevator Set, 3 Pieces
These Heidebrink root tip elevators share the pick pattern but carry heavier, elevator-style ends. You get Fig. 1, Fig. 2 and Fig. 3. So when a slim pick feels too light, you can step up without changing technique.
Built for firmer tips
Some apical pieces sit tight in dense bone. A fine pick may flex there. By contrast, a sturdier elevator end gives more purchase and more control.
Three working ends
The kit includes Fig. 1, Fig. 2 and Fig. 3. Each has its own working end. Since the set does not list exact angles, compare them on the tray and note which suits each site.
How the tip elevators fit a case
Many clinicians start with a pick. Then, if the fragment resists, they switch to one of these. The motion stays similar: seat, lift a little, and pause.
Steps that keep it controlled:
- Seat the end between root and bone.
- Lift with a short, gentle motion.
- Pause and let the ligament give.
- Switch tools rather than force a stuck tip.
Tip elevators versus tip picks
Our pick kits stay slim for delicate work. These, however, add strength at the end. In practice, a tray with both lets you start fine and move up only when needed.
Why buy the trio
Ordering all three gives a matched grip and finish. Also, the Heidebrink root tip elevators never leave a gap when you need a certain end.
Steel standard, cover and help
Heidebrink Fig. 1, 2 and 3 elevators hold three years against manufacturing defects; a flawed Heidebrink tip earns a free replacement. The stainless steel meets ASTM F899. Pieces ship non-sterile, then become reusable once you clean and sterilize them. Pair the trio with our Heidebrink pick kit for a fine-to-firm tray.
