This Scherbak speculum handle is a single component, not a complete speculum. It belongs to the Scherbak weighted vaginal speculum system and comes in one size.

Part of a system

The Scherbak system combines a handle, a weight and interchangeable blades. So this part works only with the other Scherbak pieces. Also, it lets you replace one part without buying a full set.

Fits Scherbak blades

Scherbak blades Fig 1 to Fig 5 fit onto it. Then you choose a blade to suit each patient and procedure. As a result, one handle supports the full blade range.

One size

We offer this component in a single size. Therefore, ordering stays simple. Meanwhile, the 400 g and 800 g weights come separately if you need them.

When to buy it alone

Order a Scherbak speculum handle on its own if the old one wears out or goes missing. Alternatively, choose the complete set when you start from nothing. In addition, a spare lets you prepare a second speculum while one goes for reprocessing.

Wash this part apart from the blade and weight, so each surface gets full contact with the cleaner. Next, rinse it and check the fitting area for residue. Finally, dry it and store it with the matching Scherbak parts.
