Description
Handle For AO Attachment
The AO attachment handle connects to instruments with an AO-type coupling. Taps, screwdriver shafts and similar tools can then be turned by hand.
One handle, many tools
Instead of separate handles for each tool, one handle fits many. Therefore the tray stays lighter. Swapping tools takes seconds.
Coupling
The handle uses an AO-type coupling. Please check that your instruments match before ordering. We can help confirm.
Who uses an AO attachment handle
Trauma surgeons use it with taps and screwdriver shafts. Also, small and large fragment sets include it. It suits hardware removal too.
Attaching tools
Insert the tool shaft into the coupling until it locks. Then test the connection. A loose coupling can slip under load.
Comfort
With a comfortable handle, steady torque comes easily. Consequently, long cases feel less tiring.
Fewer handles on the tray
Separate handles for every tap and shaft clutter a tray. In contrast, one coupling handle serves them all. Therefore setup and counts become simpler.

When you check out
If the handle ever shows a production fault, you keep three years against manufacturing defects. Prior to dispatch, someone in Atlanta reviews each handle by hand. Matching patterns appear in our orthopedic listings. Many clinics stock an extra handle so a case never waits. Also consider our orthopedic T-handle. Looking for help choosing a handle?
