Description
Glover Atrauma Bulldog Clamp
The Glover bulldog clamp occludes a vessel for a short time with atraumatic jaws. Seven straight and seven curved sizes cover tiny branches through larger vessels.
Straight options
Straight Glovers come in 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11 cm. So there is a size for almost every vessel you approach directly. Also, the smallest ones suit very tight fields.
Curved options
Curved versions run 5, 5.5, 6.5, 8, 8.5, 10 and 10.5 cm. Because the jaws curve, they let you clamp around a structure. Then you still see the tip as you place it.
Hands-free occlusion
Once in place, a bulldog holds on its own. Therefore, the surgeon and assistant keep both hands free for the repair. Finally, it comes off quickly when flow needs to return.
Stocking a range
Few trays need all fourteen sizes. Instead, pick the Glover bulldog clamp sizes your surgeons ask for most. In addition, keep a few extras, since small clamps sometimes go missing among drapes.
Cleaning Glover bulldog clamp
Wash small clamps in a mesh basket so they do not slip away. Then dry each one and check that the jaws close evenly. Sort them by size before storage to speed up the next setup and the count that follows.
