Description
Face-Lift Retractor, Blades 22x110mm
The face-lift retractor lifts the cheek and neck flap during facelift surgery. Its long 22 x 110 mm blade supports the flap from below so the surgeon can see the deeper layer.
Blade size
The blade is 22 mm wide and 110 mm long. As a result, it reaches far under the flap. Meanwhile, the width spreads pull evenly.
Light option on the face-lift retractor
A lit model adds a fiber optic carrier to the blade. Consequently, the tunnel under the flap is well lit. Alternatively, the plain version suits headlight users.
Typical procedures
Facelift, neck lift and brow work use it. For example, it lifts the cheek flap while the surgeon frees the deep layer. It also helps during endoscopic-assisted lifts.
Why a long blade
Facelift tunnels run a long way from the incision. Therefore, a short blade cannot support the far end. By contrast, the 110 mm blade reaches it easily.
Handling
Slide the blade in with the curve facing up. Then lift gently. Also, angle the light toward the tissue you are freeing.

Post-case care
Hand wash the long blade with a nylon brush. Dry it with a lint-free towel. Also, never stack heavy instruments on the lit carrier.
