Description
Endo Dissectors Periosteal Spreaders S-Shaped
The S-shaped periosteal spreader widens a plane after the first pass opens it. Its curved shaft reaches the forehead and brow from the hairline.
Spreading rather than cutting
A spreader opens tissue along natural planes. It avoids sharp division. As a result, bleeding and nerve injury stay low.
Tip and handle choices for the S-shaped periosteal spreader
Tips come 8 mm or 10 mm wide. Additionally, each tip pairs with an ergonomic or a standard handle. So you can match both reach and grip.
Where it is used
It supports brow, forehead and midface lifts. Surgeons often alternate it with an elevator. Generally, the 8 mm fits near the orbit and the 10 mm over the forehead.
Opening the plane step by step
Insert the closed tip along the plane already started. Then open it gently to widen the space. Repeat a little further each time. Finally, follow with an elevator if the attachments are firm.

Cleaning and drying
Brush the tip and curve under water. Rinse, then dry completely. Also, store it so the curve is not bent by other tools.
