Description
Crown Lengthening and Ridge Augmentation Set, 14 Pieces
This crown lengthening set also covers ridge augmentation, which shares many steps. In both, you open a flap, work on bone and close with care.
Exposing more tooth
Crown lengthening often means reshaping bone near the margin. First, the 6EZ handle takes the blade. Then the titanium PR3 and Buser elevators lift the flap. Next, the Ochsenbein chisel Och 2 shapes the crest.
Building up the ridge
For ridge augmentation, the same elevators free tissue so it can cover a graft. The Younger-Good 7/8 and PR 1/2 curettes clean the site first. Titanium tips are light, and many clinicians like them near implant surfaces.
A clear field
Bone work can bleed. For that reason, the kit includes an Andrews-Pynchon suction. The curved Halsted mosquito can also clamp small vessels or hold tissue.
- Ochsenbein chisel
- Two titanium elevators
- Suction and mosquito
- Carbide closing pieces
Tension-free closure
The Gerald 18 cm forceps hold the flap with a light grip. In addition, the curved suture forceps help place stitches. The 18 cm Castroviejo needle holder has carbide jaws. Finally, straight carbide-insert scissors by Goldman-Fox cut suture.
Picking the right kit
Compared with our general perio kits, this one has no scalers but more closing pieces. Choose this crown lengthening set for restorative and ridge surgery. Fourteen matched pieces in one order also keep the count simple.
We set the specification for this kit, and a United States check comes last. Our steel choice follows ASTM F899. We ship it non-sterile, and after cleaning and sterilisation each piece is reusable. Our warranty is simple: three years against manufacturing defects on all fourteen items. For deeper bone work, compare the 23-piece advanced kit.
