The Cottle single hook is a sharp, one-prong hook for nasal and facial surgery. Surgeons use it to lift skin, nostril rims and soft tissue while they dissect or close.

One prong, one point of contact

With a single prong, the hook touches tissue at just one spot. Therefore it can lift a thin edge precisely, even in a narrow nostril. It also leaves plenty of room for other instruments beside it.
