Description
Composite Restorative Set, 21 Pieces
Resin work rewards a dry field and smooth placement tools. Our composite restorative set covers both, with twenty-one pieces that run from isolation through to the final contour.
Isolate the tooth first
Six rubber dam clamps come in sizes #0, #1, #9, #4, #56A and #14. So you can fit anterior, premolar and molar teeth from one tray. The Ivory rubber dam clamp forceps, 17 cm long, spread and place each clamp. Then the gingival retractor and the 113 cord packer help expose cervical margins.
Prepare and check
The EXD 5 explorer checks enamel and margins. After that, the EXC 32L excavator removes soft dentin. Meanwhile, the #6 mirror lights the field and holds the cheek.
Place and shape the resin
The PFIT-1, PFIT-4 and PFIT-S4 filling instruments carry and pack composite. Next, the carving knife 21, the interproximal carver and the IPC titanium carver shape the material before curing. The M/J material carrier also moves small amounts with less waste.
Finishing touches
- Articulating paper forceps to check the bite
- London College cotton forceps for pellets
- Interproximal carver for contact areas
Composite tray or amalgam tray?
Choose this tray if most of your fillings are tooth-colored. By contrast, the amalgam tray adds condensers, a matrix retainer and an amalgam well. Many clinics keep both. Either way, buying the full group in one order beats piecing singles together, because the handles match and nothing goes missing.
Getting it ready for the clinic
All 21 items arrive made to our specification, with a final check in the United States before they leave. Stainless pieces meet ASTM F899. We back all 21 composite pieces for three years against manufacturing defects, meaning any build fault in a composite instrument. Because it leaves our shelf non-sterile, clean and sterilize each composite tool first; after that, reuse it day after day. See more restorative and clinical sets, the matching Amalgam Restorative Set, or our FAQs.
Restricted to professional clinical use. Before the first cycle, review our care steps and our shipping terms as well.
