The complete sinus lift set brings 23 pieces together for a lateral window sinus lift, from the first flap to the last suture. So your team does not hunt for strays in the middle of a case.
From flap to window: the opening steps
First, the Molt 9 periosteal elevator raises the flap. Its titanium tips are light, a common choice near implant parts. Then the Cawood-Minnesota and bayonet finger-tip retractors hold the cheek and flap clear. Meanwhile, the 4 mm Kerrison rongeur can trim a bony edge.
Eight curettes, one membrane
The core of the kit is a run of sinus lift curettes, numbered 0 to 7. Each sinus elevator tip has its own bend. As a result, the tips can follow the floor and walls as the lining lifts.
Graft prep beside the chair
- A bone collector gathers chips from the site.
- Larger bits go through the bone mill.
- Graft and saline blend in the mixing bowl.
- Window and flap size are checked with the 15 cm ruler.
Fine tips for a tidy closure
For closure, a Crile-Wood and a micro needle holder, each 15 cm, carry tungsten carbide inserts. Carbide is harder than plain steel, so the jaws keep their grip on fine suture. In addition, La Grange carbide scissors cut suture, and curved iris scissors trim tags.
