The Blount bone lever is a retractor for knee and long-bone work. You can order a standard blade at 18 cm or 25 cm, or a two-prong version at 25 cm.

Standard and two-prong

The standard version has a single broad blade, listed at 38 mm. Meanwhile, the two-prong version grips bone at two points. As a result, it holds steadily on rounded surfaces.

Lengths

The 18 cm standard lever suits smaller patients and shallow exposures. By contrast, the 25 cm levers reach deeper. Therefore most knee trays carry the longer length.
